How to build LED display Board?

This task details my quite fast build of a 24x8 matrix.

My determination with this project originated from Syst3mX's 24x6 matrix. A 24x6 matrix was huge, however it simply was also tiny for me, as little can be carried out in just 6 lines. My goal was to increase the line expect that display, and so I may have a few additional pixels.

Basically it is just a 24x8 matrix with a very good, interlocking foamboard grid that means it is feasible to possess a very huge display. This display is 3 legs very long, and simply over a foot large! Thats 1 / 2 how big is a large, flatscreen television! Plus, the whole thing is arduino managed, so you can program it to complete other cool things, besides only showing text! :)

Difficulty: This project is quite simple for a professional, but a novice will have a problem with it. Better for people who have had some knowledge about soldering/building circuits.

Expense: The entire task can be done for less than $70, never as in the event that you already have an arduino board.
